Effective solutions without increased staffing
Beerenberg now offers more mechanical services such as replacement and repair of railings, bumpers, hatches, grating, and pipes, often without increasing the number of persons on board (POB). The company handles the entire process from inspection and design to fabrication and installation. This provides customers with cost-effective and time-saving solutions.
When we receive a request, we take care of everything from measurements and drawings to production and offshore installation, as well as final documentation. This ensures seamless execution for our customers, says Jørgen Vestre-Øen, Operations Manager Late Phase, Beerenberg.
Innovation and customization
The company has also developed its own design solutions, including a bolted railing solution that eliminates the need for hot work. This solution has already been used on several offshore installations. Additionally, Beerenberg offers solutions for reusing existing structures, reducing both costs and environmental impact.
Collaboration with operator companies
Ronny Nyland, with extensive experience in mechanical deliveries offshore, has been central to the development of Beerenberg's mechanical services. The company has, among other things, delivered cost-effective solutions on the Brage platform for OKEA with great success.
Our multidisciplinary teams save customers both time and money by combining mechanical work with other tasks offshore, says Bjørn Åge Spurkeland, Field Manager Brage, Beerenberg.
Increasing demand in Late Phase
The market for mechanical services in the Late Phase unit shows great potential. Beerenberg had continuous mechanical deliveries throughout 2024 and consequently increased investments in equipment, expertise, and personnel to strengthen for further growth and capacity to take on more assignments.
"We see that the need for maintenance offshore is significant, especially in the late phase segment. Our expertise, concept, and flexibility make us an attractive partner for operator companies," concludes Jørgen Vestre-Øen, Operations Manager Late Phase, Beerenberg.
Leading actor in mechanical services
With its work on innovation, sustainability, and cost-effectiveness, Beerenberg is today a leading actor in mechanical services offshore. The company is already known for delivering mechanical personnel with multi-competence in technology, rigging, and cold cutting. This gives an advantage in solving challenging mechanical tasks in areas with limited access.
"Our concepts can easily be delivered as cold solutions, which ensures that productivity is maintained when necessary. We also offer specially designed projects for everything from installation of mechanical equipment to demanding lifting operations," says Ronny Nyland, Senior Engineer Mechanical, Beerenberg.
