Beerenberg is one of four companies that will maintain bridges for the Norwegian Public Roads Administration in Oslo, Akershus and Østfold. The other three parties are Consolvo AS, BMO Entreprenør AS, and Garda Road Safety.

The agreement, which has a duration of up to four years, includes, among other things, the replacement of bridge joints, bridge railings, edge girders, membrane, asphalt, concrete rehabilitation and underwater groundwork. The work will start in April.

For Beerenberg, which has been working to achieve long-term development for infrastructure, the agreement has a potential value of approximately NOK 100 million during the contract period.

Effective rehabilitation and protection of concrete structures is an important part of the maintenance of Norwegian transport infrastructure. Here, Beerenberg performs everything from repairing worn surfaces to strengthening structural integrity.

This is an important long-term framework agreement for us, in line with our strategic focus on bridge maintenance, says CEO Arild Apelthun, Beerenberg.
