Fire Protection for Tough Jobs
The product consists of prefabricated parts easily locked together using eccentric locks. This enables quick and easy installation while allowing trouble-free disassembly for inspection and maintenance as needed.
Distinguishing itself from other detachable "box & jacket" solutions, the product boasts extreme robustness and a long lifespan, proven through over 20 years of active use in oil, gas, and process plants.
Today, a wide range of players in the oil, gas, and industrial sectors worldwide utilize this product. It is recognized as a technically superior solution for fire protection by various engineering firms and experts in the field.
Additionally, the product provides significant acoustic noise reduction without additional insulation (class 6 & 7 according to NORSOK M-004 / ISO 15665). For hot equipment, the product can also be delivered pre-insulated with insulation on the inside.
Application
The Benarx Epoxy Box can be used for passive fire protection, acoustic insulation, and is also suitable for reducing CUI (Corrosion Under Insulation) as the air gap inside the box facilitates drying and drainage.
Without additional insulation, the product can be used at operating temperatures between 0°C and 120°C. Additional temperatures outside this temperature range can also be accommodated but require some calculations and additional insulation. Please contact the product department at Beerenberg for guidance if this is relevant.

The oil and gas industry faces several challenges that need to be considered, especially offshore where space is limited, and areas are confined. Noise is often a problem due to high pressure in pipes and heavy machinery.
Work regulations limit how long personnel can work in noisy environments, depending on the noise level. This can lead to inefficiency, as available personnel are limited by factors such as bed capacity and helicopter capacity. Therefore, reducing noise through insulation is a necessary factor that also increases cost-effectiveness, as workers can stay longer in areas with reduced noise levels.
