Access technology (TT) is a safe, cost-saving and efficient method for carrying out all our disciplines in Beerenberg. The method is particularly effective where other traditional methods such as scaffolding, lifts etc. not suitable.
Our clients use access technology for an increasing number of assignments, on the basis that the method is often both time- and cost-saving.
Our TT department consists of personnel with different and specialized expertise within:

- Inspections
- Mechanical services
- Rigging
- Steel work
- Electro
We have an experienced and recognized professional environment within access technology, with a continuous focus on HSE/K and innovative solutions. Our access technicians have undergone extensive training.
The training is divided into 4 levels which build on each other. There are also requirements for practice between each level. The last step is a minimum of one year's practice as an aspirant under the guidance of a security manager.
All operators who are approved (certified) according to the Norwegian model (NS 9600) must complete a refresher course every 3 years. All training takes place at approved course companies.
Beerenberg was the first company to be certified as a performing business and training business according to NS-9600 Work on ropes. We are also certified as an approved course company.
